Adult video chat, done properly
Adults on camera together is the easy part. Doing it so that both people are verified, both consented, and neither ends up somewhere they did not agree to be — that is the part worth reading about. 18+ only.
Everyone is 18 or over, and it is checked
Every account confirms their age. Anyone being paid to appear on camera goes further: a government identity document and a photograph of them holding it, reviewed by a person before their first call. Not a checkbox and not an automated guess.
Anyone who may be under 18 can be reported in one press, from inside the call, without an account. Those reports are looked at the same day.
Consent is not implied by being there
Pressing a button to be matched is not consent to see anything in particular. Nudity and sexual content between two adults who both want it are allowed here. Opening a call already explicit is not, because the person who appears has not chosen you and has no idea what they are about to see.
Consent can also be withdrawn halfway through, and either person can end the call instantly without explaining. The person you end it on is not told why.
Nothing is recorded
Video and audio pass between the two of you and are never stored by us. There is no library, no replay, and nothing to leak later. Recording or screenshotting the other person is grounds for permanent removal, and it is the report we act on fastest.
Typed chat is not stored either. When the call ends the conversation is gone.
Neither of you learns where the other lives
This is the part most platforms do not mention. A video call can connect two browsers directly, and when it does, each side learns the other side’s IP address — which is roughly their city. That is a reasonable trade when you are calling a friend. It is not reasonable when a stranger has just been handed to you, on an adult platform, and may be looking at you undressed.
Every Ronda call is relayed through a server instead, so neither person ever sees the other’s address. It costs a little latency and we pay it.
Leaving, blocking and reporting
- Next puts you both back in the queue and will not hand you each other again.
- Block works in both directions and is silent — they simply stop existing for you.
- Report sits inside the call, because the moment you need it is not a moment for hunting through menus.
- Turn somebody down twice and you stop appearing to them at all, without doing anything.
What is never allowed
Anyone under 18 in any form. Recording, screenshotting or sharing any part of a call. Anybody else in frame who has not agreed to be there. Threats or blackmail. Pre-recorded video pretending to be live. The full list, with what happens when somebody breaks it, is in the community guidelines.
If you are considering being paid for this
The earning side has its own page: what it pays, how verification works, and how money comes out. See getting paid to video chat.
